1. Introduction

Welcome to Weds and Threads. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services for wedding planning and venue booking in India. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Please read these terms carefully before using our platform. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Definitions

• "We", "Us", "Our" refers to Weds and Threads, its owners, directors, employees, and affiliates.
• "You", "Your", "User" refers to individuals or entities accessing or using our services.
• "Services" refers to wedding planning, venue booking, vendor connections, and related services offered through our platform.
• "Venue" refers to any location listed on our platform for wedding or related events.
• "Vendor" refers to any service provider listed on our platform.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of our platform, you may need to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Booking and Payment Terms

4.1. Booking Process: All venue and service bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is only confirmed after receipt of the required deposit and written confirmation from us.

4.2. Deposits: A non-refundable deposit (typically 25-50% of the total booking value) is required to secure your booking. The exact amount will be specified at the time of booking.

4.3. Payment Schedule: The remaining balance is typically due 30 days before the event date. For bookings made within 30 days of the event, full payment is required at the time of booking.

4.4. Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit/debit cards, net banking, UPI, and other methods as specified on our payment page. All payments must be made in Indian Rupees.

4.5. Taxes: All prices displayed are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. GST and other applicable taxes will be added as per government regulations.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1. Cancellation by You:

• Cancellations made more than 90 days before the event date: 75% refund of the amount paid (excluding the non-refundable deposit)
• Cancellations made 60-90 days before the event date: 50% refund of the amount paid (excluding the non-refundable deposit)
• Cancellations made 30-60 days before the event date: 25% refund of the amount paid (excluding the non-refundable deposit)
• Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event date: No refund

5.2. Cancellation by Us: In the rare event that we need to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer you a full refund of all amounts paid or, at your option, an alternative date or service of equivalent value.

5.3. Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or civil unrest.

6. Venue and Vendor Policies

6.1. Each venue and vendor may have their own specific terms and conditions in addition to these general terms. You agree to comply with any such specific terms.

6.2. Venue capacities, facilities, and amenities are as described on our platform. While we strive to ensure accuracy, minor variations may occur.

6.3. You agree to comply with all venue rules regarding noise levels, decorations, outside vendors, alcohol service, and other restrictions as communicated to you.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1. All content on our platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Weds and Threads or its content suppliers and is protected by Indian and international copyright laws.

7.2. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content from our platform without our express written permission.

8. Privacy Policy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

9.2. Our total liability for any claims under these terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our platform. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the modified terms.
